Ever wanted to just sew a wee thing? How about a bigger something but you don’t know where to start? This class is for you!

Class is in February, that month that we start to itch a bit to be done with winter, add onto that Valentine’s Day & it can just chap a bit can’t it?

So we created this class to empower, release the grudge we can hold about our bodies, and get creative.

We’ll learn a bit about patterns and sizing (& why sizing is for women is crap). We’ll learn a bit about how to release shame around the body, just go for it and start to sew for empowerment, joy, and as an artistic expression.

We all have them:
-the shirts/jeans/moth eaten sweaters, or dresses that just need to be mended or edited in some way to make them wearable, work for us, or fit again.

This class is for that pile.
Actually, it’s even better than that, this class will teach you how to take a tear, a rip, or a flaw and turn it into the thing you love the most.

We’ll learn how to paint-with-thread. From Japanese mending techniques, to paint-like embroidery including beading and subtle repairs, we’ll mend & create beauty through fiber together.

I’m re-organizing this course in 2026.
I plan for it to be centered on more complex pattern creating & theory. These classes will be à la carte.
